Summary

I worked in the field of education for 31 years, 16 as a teacher and 15 as a counselor. As a teacher, one of my key responsibilities was to create lesson plans that aligned with curriculum standards and the needs of students. Furthermore, I had to assess student progress, manage classroom discipline and communicate with co-workers and parents. As a school counselor, I am equipped to support students' academic, career and personal development. By doing these things I am ensuring that the students have a positive and successful learning environment, I also address the social and emotional challenges that students might encounter.
