Highly motivated professional offering 30 years of experience in training, auditing and Food Safety. My passion around training and developing associates started back in 1994 when I worked for Eckerd Drugs (1994-2006). During my time at Eckerd’s, I advanced and held many positions including HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) Compliance Specialist with a focus on developing policies and procedures to ensure the company was compliant with HIPAA rules and regulations. I also held the position of Pharmacy training Specialist and Auditor of Third-Party Insurance Specialist. Once the company was acquired by CVS Pharmacy, I held the position of Pharmacy Training Specialist from 2002 until 2006. During my time as a CVS Training Specialist, my main role was to conduct Customer Service Training classes and to roll out training initiatives in stores throughout the West Florida area. I joined Sweetbay in 2006 as a Pharmacy Training Specialist. My key role at Sweetbay was to schedule, audit and provide one-on-one training with the pharmacy staff. I transitioned to SEGrocers in 2014 during the Sweetbay acquisition where I held the position of Asset Protection auditor. After the restructuring of the company, I was promoted to Trading Safe and Legal Auditor II from 2016 to 2024. My main responsibility was to conduct asset protection and food safety audits for approximately 50 stores in the greater West Florida area. My most recent position held at SEGrocers was Training Specialist. As a training specialist, I conducted training and development classes and monitored training compliance for 2 districts. I have a very strong passion for training and developing associates. Every position that I’ve held since entering the workforce in 1994 has been focused around training and developing associates.
