Life Saver Award

I Received a Life Saver Award, For helping with an unexpected delivery of a premature fetus in a prison cell room.  The mother was incarnated at the  prison i was employed at who also suffered from mental illness. she had quietly went into labor in her prison cell and was found by me the nurse on duty during rounds check, sitting on her toilet holding something in her hand. Myself and another  nurse immediately ran to aid her. while my co-worker was talking to the patient ,I immediately attended to the infant that was expunged in the toilet and unresponsive. i started to suction the infant and began compressions , after several attempts the infant began to cry and mother and baby were both transported to hospital in stable condition.
