Summary

I am a motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-focused leader with over 20 years of senior leadership experience. My life's work is dedicated to improving student outcomes and ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment for all. I do take a leaf from the words of John C. Maxwell on leadership; “A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way”. I endeavor to roll up my sleeves and lead by example. As an educational leader, I strive to demonstrate qualities such as compassion, dedication, empathy, honesty, respect, and serve as a positive role model. Throughout my various roles, I used data to make decisions about resources, and the data help me, and my team create blueprints for improvement with measurable results.

My focus in working with others is to ensure everyone reaches their potential, remaining inclusive in how we do this, and building upon the diverse skills, knowledge, and culture of teams. I am ambitious for our collective potential, and I create and promote teamwork. Building bridges, not walls, is my mantra; I believe in harnessing collective strength through collaboration. As a keeper of team morale, it is important to work hard, but to also have fun and enjoy what we do. Using empathy, communication, and positivity, I strive to create a work environment that is both fun and effective and celebrates successes both large and small.
