Christopher A. Burchfield

Moved to Greer in 2012 to plant Haven Ridge church. After a few years of work the church launched in 2015. Has been leading Haven Ridge from that time until the present.

As a carpenter the expectations were to fulfill tasks in order to meet the deadlines set by the project schedule. As a project manager the tasks were to manage sub contractors and to negotiate budgetary items from quote so that the company could earn profit while accomplish the job to the customers satisfaction.

• Became employed at Oakhurst Baptist Church in November of 2005 as the Minister of Youth and Evangelism
• Served Associate Pastor of Youth and Families
• Responsibilities at Oakhurst included: weddings, funerals, hospital visitation, pulpit supply, planning outreach events, youth retreats, service projects, youth nights, family conferences, teaching discipleship classes for youth and adults, leading the Sunday worship praise band and building relationships with a goal of discipleship in mind.

• Has played guitar for over 20 years and have led worship in AR, AL, FL, IL, GA, KY, LA, MO, MS, CO, OH, TX, TN, and Peru
• Has also led worship for numerous kid’s camps, youth camps, Disciple Now Weekends, revivals, conferences, mission trips, and retreats

• Responsibilities were to teach on Wednesday nights

• Responsibilities at Germantown were to connect with college and singles on a weekly basis through gatherings/events and by phone
• Other responsibilities included planning Urban Plunges (local mission projects), teaching Sunday School, leading music for Memphis Metro (collegiate gathering for worship and bible study hosted at Germantown), and performing routine task to set up for Sunday School with the singles department

• Responsibilities were to preach each night of camp for eight weeks of the summer and lead the staff as a part of the Fuge program staff.
• In addition to preaching each evening, student investment took high priority.

• Responsibilities were to lead worship through music each night of camp and to lead camp the staff as a part of Fuge program staff

• Responsibilities were to preach each night of camp for eight weeks of the summer and lead the staff as a part of the Fuge program staff

• Responsibilities were to preach for the weekly student worship service and plan events for students including: Disciple Now, Summer Camp, Mission Projects and other outreach events

• Responsibility was primarily preaching on Wednesday nights

• Responsibilities were to lead youth in worship through music and bible study, to plan ministry events and invest in students throughout the summer
