  • Perform the tasks and duties required of the Fleet Administrator role with the added responsibility of managing and supervising 10 Lone Rock trucking employees
  • Manage all of the finances related to trucking including creating and updating an annual budget, determining the priority of trucks that need replaced and any other annual needs for the trucking department
  • Design and order new trucks to replace aging trucks in the fleet
  • Review and monitor monthly profit and loss statements for the trucking department
  • Make changes to how we operate in order to meet the department's profit margins and goals

  • Registration and DMV services for all Lone Rock logging rolling stock (150+ vehicles from company pick-ups to commercial trucks and vehicles.)
  • Review and record all paperwork associated with all Lone Rock Logging trucks, to include daily sheets, maintenance reports, load tickets, etc
  • Assist the shop with mechanical work on trucks or other pieces of equipment, help with routine maintenance such as greasing, welding, oil changes, etc
  • Review, report, and pay any and all taxes related to trucking operations (i.e weight mileage taxes, road use taxes and fees)
  • Organized and ran monthly safety meetings for the trucking department
  • Fill in driver - as needed: Drove lowboy, log truck, dump truck, and water truck whenever my schedule allowed
  • Miscellaneous labor: anything Lone Rock needed additional help with such as fire fighting, running machinery or cleaning.
