June 2016 - July 2017

• Computational chemistry research was conducted under Dr. Juan Santana where interaction of sulfur with surface of FCC metals was studied using density functional theory.
• Linux and Python used in tandem with HPCF to conduct computational chemical research.

June 2014 - August 2015

• Organic chemistry research conducted under Dr. Scott Phillips (2015) involving development of aromatic polymer from biomass phenols and synthesizing cobaltocenium containing polymers under Dr. Michael Hickner (2014). REU-Penn State University
• Extensive utilization of synthesis and chromatography techniques were used, as well as instrumental technique such as nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy.

August 2014 - May 2015

• Inorganic chemistry research conducted under Dr. Lukasz Koscielski regarding solid-state synthesis of low-melting mixed-metal oxides.
• This research utilizes computer-controlled tube furnace to perform solid-state synthesis, utilizing instrumental technique such as optical microscope and powder X-ray diffraction to analyze it.

• Biochemistry laboratory technician under Dr. Vibha Bansal, tasked with preparing all reagents used in the lab as well as instrumental equipment calibration such as pH meters and spectrophotometers.
