Accomplishments

During my teaching career I was the Outstanding Teacher of the Year for 1992-1993 and 2006-2007. I received the DeKalb Bar Association's Liberty Bell Award in 2012. Since my retirement from teaching I have remained involved with Decatur High School's ROTC. I have helped orchestrate a ceremony which is held on or near September 11th each year where first responders as well as private citizens who serve the community are recognized for all their service to others. For many years I, along with some student volunteers and parents, worked with the Decatur Cemetery to place an American flag on every veteran's graveside for Memorial Day Weekend, along with flowers. After Memorial Day we would return to remove the flags. Many of the vendors and contractors that I have worked with since then have become involved in both of these projects and it has been beneficial for their business, as well as for Sapir Realty.

Additional Information

I am currently seeking either full time or part time employment in the field of property management/property field agent. I have been married for 36 years and we have one son. We are active members of St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church in Lilburn, Ga.
