- World language department head. Working with two other teachers in my department to promote cross curricular work with other teachers. To make sure that administrative duties were completed by all teachers. Established and maintained professional relationships with all staff and community members.
- Instituted Comprehensible Input into the curriculum at Roger Bacon High School. Keeping up with the best available teaching methods to ensure student retention of the material. Used the target language as much as possible to promote student understanding.
- Developed and wrote curriculum maps for Spanish levels I thru III. As department head oversaw the development of the French levels I thru III curriculum maps.
- Created a student centered environment in the classroom. Made sure that materials were differentiated for students of all ability levels. Communicated high expectations to all students. Had individual time with struggling students structured into the schedule at the end of the school day.
- Am a member of the Academic Advisory Team for the school. We come up with new ideas to help promote academic success for all students. Reviewed current policies and procedures to make improvements where deemed necessary.
- Fostered a positive relationship with stakeholders by making two parental contacts every week. This helped build a positive rapport between students, parents, and myself.

- Was a varsity wrestling coach for 6 years. Three years as a varsity assistant and three years as varsity head coach.
