Summary

With over 21 years of experience as an IT Coordinator, I have developed a deep understanding of library tasks and workflows, working closely with staff, patrons, small groups, and library consortiums. My hands-on experience spans various products in the library world, including Microsoft Office, multiple EnvisionWare products. Brightsign Digital Signage, Canva, Twilio, and multiple programming languages and platforms. I have also had some experience over the last 2 years working with AI enhanced tools. I have previous experience with the Athena and Voyager ILS systems, including migrations from these systems, and have successfully managed the consortium's current Koha ILS for 12 years, and am currently expanding my skills with Aspen Discovery. In addition to my technical expertise, I possess strong training abilities and have effectively trained individuals and groups of all skill levels. Over the past 4 years I have been co-hosting, producing, and editing bi-weekly training videos for the Koha community through koha-US. My involvement with koha-US spans 10 years, including serving as Vice President for 2 years and President for 2 years. I am currently holding the position of Admin, which is responsible for their online presence, and technology for annual conferences. Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated a track record of quickly acquiring new skills, thinking outside the box, and surpassing expectations.
