• Maintaining all mud pumps, shale shakers, and entire pit system.
• To pull back or latch up drill pipe, collars, and heavy weights from the board fingers while tripping in or out of the hole.
• To be observant of all moving equipment ( cables, hoses, lines, chains ect.) during a trip to ensure safe and correct operations.
• Used iron roughnecks, tongs and slips to properly handle and connect sections of drill pipe.
