A highly professional and dedicated Marine engineer Master Tradesman of over 20 years of experience in the Marine Engineering field and the Jamaica Defense Force (Military). Consistently demonstrating leadership skills, committed, trustworthy, dedicated, honest, decision-making capabilities, initiative, and resourcefulness in responding to job challenges. Placed to supervise a team of seventy-six (76) members, my primary responsibility is to focus the operation and maintenance of four (4) Offshore patrol vessels and ten (10) inshore patrol vessels ranging from 20meters to 51meters. Additional I manage the training and development for individuals and administer logistics and procurement for my department. I conduct routine ship surveys in keeping with the Ship Classification Society, preparation management for the drydocking of vessels, servicing and maintenance of engines, generator, and equipment onboard vessels. Throughout my professional experience I perform regular inspections of equipment and machinery in order to maintain good mechanical and operational standards. I supervised the training and development within my department to improve maintenance techniques and enhance the knowledge base of persons under my command.
