Starting at Kmart in 2010 I was a customer service associate working on the sales floor assisting customers finding products, offloading delivery trucks, stocking shelves with product. Shortly after starting I was promoted to Housewares Dept Lead where I oversaw the Housewares Department where my duties included assisting customers, maintaining adequate stock of products, building displays for maximum sales, and ensuring product pricing and other signage was highly visible at all times.

I was then eventually promoted to Pricing Lead where my primary duty was to make sure that product pricing, sales signs, and promotional signage throughout the entire store was correct and up to date. I worked closely with my coworkers as a team to achieve this on a daily basis.

In addition to the above, I also worked at the cash registers as well as the customer service counter.

Employed by Lowes in Hagerstown, Md as a Customer Service Associate/Cashier.

Primary duties included cashiering, customer service desk, returns desk, garden center associate/cashier.

Duties included cashiering, assisting customers locating product, "Project Starter" greeting people at the door as they came in and directing them to appropriate areas in the store for their specific needs, and taking care of plants in the garden center.

Worked for Christmas Tree Shops in Hagerstown, Md as a cashier, customer service desk associate, and product stocker.

Worked at Movie Gallery movie rental store in Berryville, Va. as Store Manager.

My role as manager was to ensure that the store ran at optimal operational levels, hire new employees and fired employees as needed.

My primary duties included customer service at the highest level to ensure customer loyalty and repeat business, stocking of movies to shelves, maintaining proper cash in the cash drawers for proper transactions, consolidating cash drawers at the close of business, balancing the end of day paperwork, and making bank deposits on a daily basis.

I was also in charge of employee schedules for appropriate store coverage for optimal customer service.
