Summary

I started my career in the Florida Department of Corrections August 21, 2009. After 4 years as an officer on midnights and transferring and receiving I was promoted to sergeant on June 6, 2014. I spent most of my years as a sergeant in our confinement unit where most of our troubled inmates were housed. I was given the opportunity to advance my career as an Outside Grounds Sergeant supervising all county work squads in Washington and Bay county, then was promoted to the acting Outside Work Squad Lieutenant. During my employment I served as a member of the Emergency Response Team. After a few months I was promoted to Assistant Squad Leader then Squad Leader. I retired from the Department of Corrections on September 27, 2019 to pursue another career. On October 4, 2019 I started employment at EF San Juan as a delivery driver. driver. After 10 months I transferred departments. The past 3 years I have worked in millwork and the door department. May 2023 I was promoted to Door Shop Supervisor. I transitioned to the medical field as a patient care tech at HCA-Gulf coast from July 2023 to June 2024. I am currently employed at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay as an Emergency Department Tech starting in June 2024. I am finishing my Associate's in Science Degree in Radiography. I am entering into my 4th semester as a 2nd year student.
