Monthly Employee Recognition (FEB)

Chris Edwards, Maintenance Storeroom Coordinator for Waukegan/Kenosha, is being recognized for taking full ownership of a $2.3 million inventory and managing it with a level of accountability and care that extends well beyond routine oversight. He has transformed the maintenance stock into a more organized and reliable operation by proactively monitoring valuation trends, tightening controls, identifying cost-effective solutions, and applying his strong technical background to make sound, well-informed decisions each day. Rather than simply maintaining the status quo, Chris consistently looks for smarter ways to manage materials while protecting quality and performance. Over the past year, he maintained exceptional inventory stability, keeping variation between 1.6%–1.66% despite inflation, tariff changes, and other external pressures, with an average fluctuation of just $17,569 between consecutive valuations—results that are clearly reflected in the strength of the Maintenance KPIs.
