• Clinical Support Services Specialist: Assists with clinical operations, recruitment, and leadership teams, especially with onboarding new providers and employee changes for existing providers. Basic contract creating. Liaison between provider, Operations, Legal, HR, IT, Payroll, Recruitment and Executives for both new hires and existing providers. Send legal documents to provider utilizing DocuSign, which includes contractual amendments, addenda, memoranda, letters, and other legal documents as needed and creating those documents by utilizing legal resources to update contract language and compensation. Send and track completion of provider new hire paperwork. Data enter providers into hiring system, including demographics, active assignments, payrolls, taxes, supervisors, and expense approvers.
• Patient Access Specialist Coordinator: Provides on-site technical support to clinicians to ensure the proper and effective use of clinical information systems and improve the delivery of patient care. Assists users with system navigation, troubleshooting and patient monitoring issues. Collaborates with leaders across functions and disciplines to plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical systems and services.
• Patient Account Collection Representative: Collects on hospital claims. Knowledgeable in manage care/traditional Medicare hospital collections (denials, rejections). Provides all necessary collection efforts for assigned payers to ensure claims are billed/collected compliantly in accordance with State and Federal regulations. Calculate/analyze reimbursement methodologies to determine payment accuracy in order to respond to audits per regulatory requirements. Collects receivable for patient care services in order to ensure an adequate and constant cash flow and support the financial viability.
• Financial Counselor/Referral Coordinator: Conduct insurance eligibility and intake process to include financial assistance interviews. Update appropriate systems with accurate account status. Collections of co-pays and deductibles. Interview uninsured patients to determine potential eligibility for government funding or medical insurance. Provide personal assistant with the application process regarding eligibility. Acquire authorization from insurance companies for referrals. Setup appointments with specialists for patients. Diplomacy and negotiation skills.
• Accounting Representative Specialist: Responsible for working/editing daily download of assigned claims while adhering to all regulatory, contractual, compliance and BHSF mandates/guidelines. Optimizes timely transmittal of accurate and clean claims to achieve daily set thresholds. Protects payer filing deadlines by utilizing all available resources to resolve held claims. Communicates effectively with all BHSF Departments responsible for Revenue Cycle delays and works with Billing Management to achieve resolution.
