• Work performed in the dispatch also includes creating ticket numbers according to job site and printing job tickets for the men...inputting labor performed in our computer system ( data entry ) and updating time sheets manually. I also set up work from either customers or accounts for the day of, emergency or future work to be scheduled at a later date. I would never personally give quotes over the phone for work to be performed just our rates. I would usually take all of the clients information and a foreman would either perform an estimate and or construct a proposal pending approval of work. I would have materials delivered either in a cab or by our owner by our own vehicle to mechanics on site if requested.

Daily work performed was making sure the mechanics and or apprentices on job sites were being billed for the hours performed with straight or overtime rates weather they were an (A) Mechanic (B) Mechanic...Apprentice / Jr.Mechanic / Welder / Boiler Tech. / HVAC Tech. or Back Hoe Operator. Materials for work performed was charged to the customer or account including any and all sub contractors / special order materials from supply house / any equipment rentals / Asbestos Containing Materials Removal charges / City Permits / Expeditors Labor Fees...Foreman's Labor Etc.

Once the cost for work performed had been established and materials marked up (according to type of job) I would type a detailed description of the work performed either daily or a bullet point style description.

If a contract was established prior to work performed , I would put a bill together according to the cost of the job and determine the profit and loss margin and paper work would be given to the foreman of the account and would be adjusted accordingly per foreman or by the owner.
