Year-round jobs and duties:

• Clean the teacher classrooms first thing in the morning after clocking in. Sweep and mop classroom floors, change trash bags, and refill paper towel dispensers.
• Dust mop the hallway floor, wet mop on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
• Take out all trash bags to the trash container, and recyclables to the recyclable container.
• Vacuum the rugs at the entrance and exit of the main hallway and the entrance between the boy's and girl's locker rooms.
• Clean the boy's and girl's bathrooms; refill hand soap, paper towel, and toilet paper dispensers, change the sanitary napkins in girl's bathrooms, sanitize the sinks and toilet lids and scrub the inside of the bowl, sweep and mop the floors after. Check twice during lunch hours and before shift ends.
• Gather all dirty cleaning microfiber cloths and put to wash in washer in teacher's lounge; dry and fold clean microfiber cloths and store in supply closet.
• Sweep the stairwells between the upper level and lower level, and the stairwell between the boy's and girl's locker rooms. Mop spills as needed.
• Sweep and mop the bathrooms in the teacher's lounge and the coach's office, refill hand soap dispensers, paper towels and toilet paper rolls as needed, sanitize and disinfect the sink handles and toilet lids and handles.
• Take out the trash in the cafeteria during lunch hours at 12:00 noon, sweep and mop the cafeteria floor as needed.
• Spray clean the windows and glass cases in the hallway and the mirrors in the bathrooms and locker rooms.

Daily tasks include but are not limited to:

• Perform a routine assurance of store quality for our customers and provide a positive and helpful shopping experience.

My priority at Belk was to maintain a professional, well-maintained, clean, and positive experience for the customers who frequented the store. Daily job responsibilities included:

• Emptying trash from all sales floors and manager offices, collecting tags, clips, and stickers littered around the floors, and replenishing bags at the sales registers.
• Taking out the trash to the waste container outside, behind the store.
• Dust mopping and sweeping main store floors, scraping gum, tape, and stickers off the floors and disposing of the materials properly, and mopping up wet spills to avoid trips and falls.
• Cleaning and polishing glass doors and mirror columns.
• Vacuuming carpets on the sales floors and spot treating stains on the carpets.
• Dusting glass displays at the Shoes, Jewelry, and Handbag departments.

My main goal as a sanitation worker was to provide a clean, maintained, functional work atmosphere for my fellow associates and ensure a smooth flow of consistency in the Haywood Regional Medical Center kitchen. Listed work duties included:

• Unloading food trays from kitchen carts; hand washing and sanitizing carts from the inside and outside for the next assigned shift to deliver food to hospital patients.
• Scraping uneaten food from plates and dishes; sorting and pre-washing dishes, glassware, bowls, and silverware on reusable dish racks.
• Loading dirty dishes into the dishwasher and taking clean dishes out; hand drying clean dishes and transporting them to each chef's station.
• Scrubbing dirty pots and pans at the pot washing station; bringing pre-washed pots, pans, and bowls to the dishwasher station; transporting clean pots to the chef's stations.
• Collecting and replacing trash bags; breaking down cardboard; taking out trash and recyclables to the disposal containers outside.
• Sweeping and mopping the main aisle in the kitchen.
• Inspecting the dishwasher station for trash on the floor; disposing of broken dishes and glass properly to avoid injuries; and before leaving toward the end of my shift, shutting off the dishwasher and checking the filters for clogs; rinsing the filters thoroughly; lifting the dishwasher flaps open to air dry for use the next day.

I did regular maintenance and occasional manual labor for the El Paso city scenery in order to provide an attractive and professional look to the recreational areas for the public, removing obstructions from the streets and community. In the city parks, my tasks were to:

• Replace damaged or overfilled trash bags near designated public recreation areas (softball fields, soccer fields, skate parks, playgrounds, tennis courts, walking trails).
• Collect litter and dispose of waste properly.
• Unload all trash at a designated waste container or at the landfill.

In the alleys, my tasks were to:

• Rake and shovel trash and debris and place into the trailer attached to the company vehicle.
• Uproot weeds and cut down bushes with hedge trimmers or weed hackers.
• Lift as a team and load heavier trash onto the trailer.
• Keep the alleys clear of clutter and waste with basic housekeeping and grounds maintenance practices.
• Take the company vehicles to the landfill and unload all trash and debris; spray off any residue from the trailer.
• Contributed to overall property aesthetics improvements resulting from dedicated attention towards daily maintenance tasks and detail-oriented approach to groundskeeping.
