Plan and scheduled movements of personnel, supplies and equipment via air, sea, and ground modes of transportation. Advisor to the Commanding General’s staff on all strategic mobility operational planning. Subject matter expert that provided interface and articulated the strategic mobility requirement to various government agencies.

  • Leadership: Managed team of eight personnel responsible for day-to-day transportation operations and coordination of deployment of over 25K passengers and 180Ktons of cargo globally via military sea/air assets. Support daily operations for 26 subordinate units.
  • Team Building: Developed and maintained team of 53 personnel with 400K tons of cargo, in support U.S. Marine Corps’ Maritime Preposition Program. Conducted ship off-loads and processed over 100 pieces of cargo during three-month exercise deployed to Guam.
  • Mentorship and Networking: Instituted enhanced mobility training program, increasing unit deployment readiness by 25%. Training included joint mobility operations training plan with U.S. Navy, Air Force and Army, building collaboration for inter-service operations.
  • Result Oriented: Coordinated movements of 36 M77 Howitzer cannons to partner nation in support of Presidential orders utilizing seven C17 cargo aircrafts in support of conflict in Ukraine.

Advisor to I MEF Strategic Mobility Officer and the Commanding General’s staff on all matters dealing with ground transportation and large unit movements through various air and sea ports throughout the state of California. In addition, assigned as the Strategic Mobility Officer while deployed with the Forward Command Element when deployed outside of the United States.

  • Talent Management: During Maritime Pre-position exercise, sourced, mentored, deployed, trained and supervised team of 21 Marines, forming efficient and effective movement control team.
  • Operations Planning and Execution: Orchestrated movements of 7K passengers and 1.5M tons of cargo from U.S Air Force Base Al Dhafra to training area in 130 miles away, during COVID-19 pandemic to and from the Unit Arab Emirates.
  • Strategic Thinker: Chaired Deployment Operation Working Group. Prioritized tasks and allocated resources appropriately to keep teams focused and productive as we coordinate over 47 international and local flights, 9 contracted sealift vessel, 135 Buses, and 363 tractor trailer, ensuring all personnel and equipment arrive on-time.

Liaised with the USN Admiral’s Staff on all Marine Corps habitability and ship loading operations, managing personnel, supplies and equipment. In addition to the primary duties, served as the lead planner and logistics representative supporting 4 deployed U.S. Navy units. These units operated within Kingdom of Thailand while participating in Joint Exercises. Develop strong relationships and partnerships with Supply Chain Finance, Real Estate, Construction, Delivery, Engineering, and Field Organization.

  • Supply Chain Optimization: Designed and optimized supply chain to sustain life support for 100+ personnel. Negotiated 12 contracts, lodging, ground transportations, supply distribution and commercial airlift, ensuring units met operational time line.
  • Executive Level Presentation: Led naval planning efforts during 15 conferences. Created reports, presentations and other materials for executive staff, successfully arranging for civil construction of a new pier, underwater demolition, and salvage, with an average operating cost of $15M.
  • Process Improvement: Provided technical oversight on modeling and strategy development approach. Identified inefficient processes, and effectively implemented an improved supply chain management method to save over $10K.
  • Project Management and Professional Development: Created Military Combat Loading Exercise to mentor Japanese Self Defense Force on military ship loading techniques. This exercise increased the partnership and relations between the U.S. and Japan
