• The Bay-3 project will be executed by an EPC contractor, on a “turnkey” +$2.4 B Lump sum contract basis with peak manpower of +3,700 craft personnel on 7/12 schedule.

• Mr. Hardwick held a Chevron Owner's rep as Commissioning / Start-Up Manager for the Brownfield portion of the project assigned to manage the transition from a bulk construction execution to a completion-based execution driven by sub-system priority start-up sequence. This role has made him responsible for the developing work processes for livening up notices, MC dossiers, TCPs for handover, line cleaning procedures, site commissioning procedures for package equipment, dynamic commissioning procedures, MOC close out, and PSSR readiness protocols needed for facility start-up.

The project work scope includes integrating the new Greenfield methanol unit to upgraded existing process systems and equipment. Mr. Hardwick is responsible for the construction and execution of all brownfield tie-ins and TAR work scopes. Greenfield responsibilities setting of static / rotating equipment and skid packages, installation of exotic alloy piping, field fabricated storage tanks, pre / primary reformer, HP oxygen and fuel gas, large bore underground pipeline installations, as well as assisting with commissioning and pre-start up activities.
• Mr. Hardwick held a position as the Brownfield / Greenfield Construction Superintendent assigned to manage piping & mechanical contractors, specialty service contractors, management teams and 5 off-site fabrication shops. • Celanese Fairway Methanol Project
