I bring a strong, hands-on background built through military service and progressive technical experience across multiple trades. I began my career in the U.S. Navy Seabees as a Steelworker, where I developed discipline, leadership, and a solid foundation in fabrication, welding, and structural work under high-pressure environments.
Following my military service, I expanded into the electrical field as an apprentice, gaining practical knowledge in troubleshooting, installation, and system diagnostics. I then transitioned into HVAC, where I completed an apprenticeship and advanced to a full-service HVAC technician, servicing a wide region across southern Louisiana—from Lafayette to Lake Charles. In this role, I built expertise in system maintenance, repair, and customer-focused solutions across residential and commercial systems.
Currently, I am employed as an HVAC Engineer at Golden Nugget Lake Charles, where I continue to apply and expand my technical skillset in a large-scale, high-demand environment.
In addition to my professional experience, I am actively pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, further strengthening my understanding of engineering principles and advancing my long-term career growth.

A U.S. Navy Steelworker (SW), part of the Seabees, is a highly skilled construction professional responsible for the fabrication, erection, and repair of metal structures in support of military and humanitarian operations worldwide. Steelworkers combine advanced welding and metalworking expertise with expeditionary construction capabilities, enabling them to build and maintain critical infrastructure in austere, high-tempo environments.
Core responsibilities include structural steel fabrication and erection; welding processes such as SMAW (stick), GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG), and oxy-fuel cutting; blueprint reading and layout; and the assembly of buildings, bridges, towers, and other load-bearing structures. Steelworkers also perform rebar placement, rigging and hoisting operations, scaffolding, and formwork, ensuring all work meets strict safety, quality, and engineering standards.
Operating as part of Naval Construction Battalions, Steelworkers are trained in both construction and combat readiness, allowing them to deploy globally in support of contingency operations, disaster response, and infrastructure development. They routinely work in challenging conditions, demonstrating adaptability, precision, and teamwork while contributing to mission success.
Through their diverse training and hands-on experience, Navy Steelworkers develop strong leadership, problem-solving, and technical skills that translate effectively into civilian careers in construction, welding, fabrication, and industrial maintenance.
