Fire Safety Inspector: Perform fire safety inspections to create a safer work environment through identification of potential hazards and implement appropriate countermeasures during inspections. I also review site, construction, architectural engineering plans and shop drawings for compliance adopted by the city and the state of florida. I provide information to applicants for correction and resubmission of plans in the instance of non compliant codes and standards. I respond to questions and resolve complaints from the public, contractors developers and business owners and insure code compliance.

I also assist the Fire Marshal with the investigation of different types of fire to determine the cause and origin of the fire to help to determine if the fire is accidental or possible arson. I work with the local police and the Florida State Fire Marshals office together while doing these task. I am responsible for adequate information and integrity while doing these investigations.

I have done public speaking and education to inform the general public on fire safety. I have spoken at elementary schools, middle schools and high schools. I have also spoken at churches and community events on Medical and fire safety.
