  • After a group lesson covering some of the new products the company had just started supplying, the contractor teaching the lesson asked my supervising manager if I had ever worked with the particular products our company carried, because in his opinion I picked up the concept and mechanics of the material and how the processes worked as though I had possibly some background or history working with it. In which she informed him that no I had no prior experience with it but that I learn very fast and I pay attention to detail.

  • Maintained a position of leadership overseeing three converting rolled lines including one Futura winder, two Chan Lee winders, three core machines, with four TMC Uno wrappers, three Infinity case packers, one LGV robot, and seven E80 automated robots with automated palletizers, pallet wrapper, stacker, and pallet inserter.
  • Maintained a level of best/top wrapper operator by upper administration amongst 217 employees all while the monthly turnover rate was on average 45/50%.
  • Had the fastest changeover time out of all four shifts while maintaining the fastest time the entire time with the company.
  • Achieved the highest production count amongst 17 plants nationwide awarding Oklahoma City converting plant a corporate and CEO personal visit for a plant wide held meeting to congratulate on our achievements.
  • Out of 217 employees only 3 were given The Spot Award one of which was given to me for Continuous Improvement Achievements and Innovative Ideas, which included a $500 bonus and an article within the company wide printed tribune and posted on the local bulletin board.
  • Assisted in numerous work projects involving maintenance work orders in order to help with maintenance crew’s time restraints and work request overloads.
  • Multiple maintenance employees expressed preference to working during my teams shift, due to the reduced maintenance calls, compared to all other shifts.
  • Especially calls involving the plants newest pieces of machinery the automated robots. E80 robots in which covered automated product orientation placement or diverter, pallet builder or stacker, pallet wrapper and turntable, slip shooter (slip sheet inserter), pallet stacker/ wood pallet inserter, and L.G.V (Laser Guided Vehicle). All of which I trained myself on after receiving the basic machine operation run through.
  • Within my first 6 months I improved the poly changing SOP and reduced the previous expectation time lapse of 2 minutes and 45 seconds to change a roll of poly out on the wrappers, all the way down to the new expectation time lapse of 45-55 seconds just by adding one extra step in the preparation of the upcoming roll to be loaded. On an average of 43 rolls across 3 rolled lines per shift added up to 1046 hours of down time a year reduced.
  • Afterwards was approached by our plant superintendent and the CI manager showing their appreciation.
  • Clearwater paper closed their Oklahoma City Operations
