In addition to my normal job duties at UPS, I was in charge of the safety committee for 3 years. That job involved holding and leading safety committee meetings once a month, performing safety observations on employees and providing feedback on safe work methods. I audited our facility on a monthly basis to insure OSHA compliance. Our facility went through an OSHA style audit (by a third party company) during my tenure as Safety chair. We passed that audit with a 97 out of 100 score.
