  • Oversaw development of traditional and digital marketing campaigns to drive sales and customer engagement.

CONTENT MARKETING

  • Created high quality content around strategic keywords that was an improvement over competitor's content. We created longer, more in-depth content that included what we thought was missing in other articles.
  • Optimized each blog post around our target keywords, including the content, headings, title tags, image alt tags, word count, and more.

SEO

  • Researched Competitors using tools like AHREFS and collected data to develop a game plan on how to find and rank for high value keywords.
  • Developed a keyword strategy to find "quick win" keywords while simultaneously working on higher competition, more difficult keywords.

E-mail Marketing

Conversion Rate Optimization

  • Optimized websites for conversion rates by implementing best practices such as using pop up forms, call to actions (above the fold), page speed, and improving user experience.
  • Utilized HeatMap tools and Google Analytics to monitor visitor patterns and make improvements as necessary.
  • A/B tested different layouts and ad copy to ensure best results.

Paid Ads

  • Optimized Google Adwords campaigns by creating high converting ads and solid keyword / negative keywords lists. We checked ads daily and kept in touch with Google's recommendations.
  • We implemented conversion tracking to allow us to optimize our campaigns for conversions.
  • Used tools such as SpyFu to find quality keywords to target for PPC campaigns.
  • Built and optimized landing pages for conversion.
  • Created split tests for both ads and landing pages to improve cost per click, cost per acquisition and other key metrics.
  • Workd with Social Media Expert to create Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns, selecting key audiences and creating high quality ads that would be split tested and improved over time. We ran specials and enticed users to fill out lead gen forms or redirected them to our "special offer" landing page(s).

Website Develeopment

  • Managed website design and development projects. We built websites on WordPress using tools such as Astra, Elementor, Gravity Forms / Ninja Forms, Ultimate Addons, and More.
  • We hosted customer websites and maintained and updated WordPress plugins manually each month to keep up to date.

  • Built and managed team of 6. I served as the head of digital marketing and helped set KPI's and ensure that goals were met.
