Communication Skills

Working in the innovation cell for an aircraft maintenance squadron, I would routinely advise senior leadership on how to execute our mission more effectively into a future that we cannot predict. Having hands on experience on the flightline, and learning from project management courses like SCRUM, SIGMA 6, and Green Belt certifying agencies, I have learned how to lead, empower, and guide teams of people in a fast-paced environment with velocity and accuracy. The challenge is to execute true to the vision of our mission, the right time, the first time, every time. This requires a very high level of communication, I met this demand through several different high level leadership training courses such as some of John C. Maxwell’s teachings, as well as hands on training from Social Workers, Therapists, and Psychologists.

Accomplishments

Pioneered "Whole Airman Concept" Program
Led the launch of a comprehensive program at Cannon Air Force Base focused on team building, resilience, and morale enhancement. Collaborated with social workers, psychologists, and therapists to integrate resilience training and facilitated discussions that strengthened critical thinking and squadron cohesion. This initiative drove measurable improvements in morale, retention, and overall team performance, aligning diverse teams with shared mission objectives and fostering a culture of high engagement and accountability.

Achieved “Powerful” Team Rating as Team 1 Leader
As Team 1 Leader in Landmark Education’s Team Management and Leadership program, spearheaded initiatives that propelled the team to earn the top “Powerful” accolade—an achievement unmatched for over two years. This accomplishment reflected strong leadership, goal alignment, and a dedication to fostering a high-performance, results-driven environment that resonates with ESET’s focus on creating a motivating and collaborative culture.
