Leadership Experience

A leader shouldn't be someone that barks orders at people and expects them to just follow blindly. True leadership is someone who meets their team on their level. Listen as well as they give instructions. That's why I've always had an open-door policy. To employees to bring any issues to me and know they will be addressed. They may not always get the result they were looking for, but they know that they were heard. This has helped me build relationships with employees that otherwise would not be responsive to advice from a safety professional.
