During this time I have been responsible for the entire operations of the Rockbridge facility. I have been a part of the design and layout of the assembly process for 5 new products to date. I have been on all teams to start this new facility, this includes purchase parts planning, assembly planning, building maintenance, building layout and expansion, capital expenditures, salaried and hourly staffing plans, and all hourly team member development. I have also led the operational team to ensure accurate purchased part inventory. I have the sole responsibility for the management of all operational SAP transactions for the entirety of the facility. During this time I have been a critical part of the plants early success and rapid growth.
I had oversight of the entire fabrication department. This included mentoring the 2nd shift production supervisors. I was responsible for all fabrication processes across 3 shifts of production. During my time as fabrication supervisor, my team was able to support the plants assembly processes in achieving record sales multiple years in a row. During this time I was a part of the planning and implementation of a new sheet fed cnc punch. I was also a part of the planning of the purchase of a new coil fed punch machine. I had full responsibility of all production planning across 3 shift to ensure all production needs where being met. I gained expertise in the modine 8d process during this time. I was responsible for all SAP transaction for the fabrication department. This also include weekly cycle counts on numerous material and monthly error corrections for the entire plant.
Over sight of all 2nd shift operations. This included Hot Dawg assembly line, heat exchanger department, and entire fabrication department. I was responsible for all time keeping to ensure accurate pay for all hourly work force. I was responsible for all kpi for the entirety of the 2nd shift operations. This included on time delivery, schedule attainment, dpmo, and production efficiency. During this time I was a intergal part of the implementation of installing a press brake on the HD assembly line. This helped the assembly line become less dependent on a capacity constrained fabrication department. I had full responibilty for all 2nd shift SAP transactions.
