I’m Christopher Olean, a driven Political Science, Legal Studies, and Economics student at Roger Williams University with a fervent ambition to excel in the political and legal arenas. My hands-on experience includes interning for Congressman David Cicilline and former RI CD-01 candidate Don Carlson, where I honed my skills in networking, management, public speaking, and data analysis.
In addition to these roles, I served as the Rhode Island State Lead for the Kennedy Campaign, where I spearheaded the Students for Kennedy Initiative. This role allowed me to connect and mobilize motivated students across the state, organize impactful campaign events, and manage critical tasks such as petitioning to secure Kennedy’s spot on the November ballot. This experience not only sharpened my leadership and organizational abilities but also reinforced my commitment to grassroots advocacy.
Described as intelligent, enthusiastic, a true and effective leader, and dedicated, I am known for my relentless work ethic and readiness to outwork anyone to achieve goals. I am deeply committed to sharing my perspectives while remaining open to learning from others. My ultimate goal is to pursue a law degree and continue making meaningful contributions in the legal and political fields.
At the end of the summer, I assumed the role of Rhode Island State Lead for the Kennedy Campaign, where I led the Students for Kennedy Initiative. This role involved mobilizing and connecting motivated students across the state who were passionate about supporting RFK Jr. in the 2024 presidential race. I was responsible for organizing weekly meetings and coordinating real-world campaign events to amplify RFK Jr.’s message and engage the community.
One of my primary tasks was to oversee the petitioning process to ensure that Kennedy secured a spot on the November ballot in Rhode Island. While my tenure concluded with the suspension of RFK Jr.’s campaign, this experience provided me with substantial leadership and organizational skills, as well as a deep understanding of grassroots campaigning.
