  • Oversaw supplier selection and quotation process for Danieli Corp's major Capital Equipment acquisitions for a new US Market.
  • Set up optimal sourcing, contracting, and procurement strategies for commercial items needed for final equipment assembly.
  • Coordinated with the Purchasing and Engineering departments for US sourcing of steel mill equipment in Alabama, inclusive of negotiating a 2M pound structural building package to achieve a 36% cost reduction from the original bid price.
  • Collaborated with the PM and vendor to create manufacturing/inspecting schedules, and negotiated liquidated damages to ensure project timeline adherence.
  • Finalized a deal through Danieli's office in China to have their supplier fabricate, assemble, and deliver a multi-position 500K pound Slab Grinder at 45% more cost-effective than the European and US alternatives.
  • Oversaw strategic sourcing and purchase order entry for hundreds of commercial parts, along with managing the T&C negotiation, expenditure, and logistics process to ensure timely delivery of all orders for hundreds of commercial parts necessary for final equipment assembly.
