- Estate property responsibilities were broad and varied. Duties included taking care of various water fowl (swans, geese and ducks) year round. Tree work, pruning and removals. Annuals and perennial plantings including a vegetable garden, caring for various types of topicals throughout the year. Seeding or sodding of areas. Repair/construction of walkways, patios, tie walls. Painting and repair including shingles of multiple outbuildings, sheds, gazebo, bridges, chalet and carriage house. Pond maintenance included yearly fountain installation and removal, chemical treatment to control algae and weeds. Koi pond was drained, cleaned and repaired as needed.
- Irrigation and outdoor lighting repairs. Maintenance and repair of multiple furnaces/air conditioning units, hot water tanks, steam boiler, hot tub equipment, steam room, sump pumps and more. Maintenance of various equipment including pickup truck, utility cart, chainsaw, backpack blower, string trimmer, power washer. Snow and ice removal. Acquiring bids for a variety of projects, roofing, asphalt, car repair.

- 1992-2001) my job title was arborist. Some of my duties included selectively clearing trees from the course to the home owners property lines. Removal of dead or hazardous trees from the course. Sourcing and planting trees from nurseries and on site with the use of a Vermeer tree spade. Spraying trees and ornamentals with various pesticides/fungicides including fertilizer injections. Working with others on drainage and irrigation projects. Other projects included landscaping the clubhouse, sales center, swim tennis club as well as The Bertram Inn. Seasonal jobs included aerating, leaf removal and plowing of development roads in the winter. When the course was sold to the members in 2001 the owners asked me to work at the corporate office and their estate.
