  • Provide technical review of ESPC Measurement and Verification reports to ensure guaranteed energy savings are met.
  • Perform reviews of mechanical engineering designs for constant and variable volume air handling unit systems, chillers, cooling towers, heating boilers, building automation system controls, chilled water, heating water, and condensing water pumping systems, closed and open loop water treatment and filtration systems, steam and condensate systems, and plumbing and potable water heating systems for GSA facilities. Ensure compliance with GSA design guides, building codes, and ASHRAE standards such as ASHRAE 62 and 90.1.
  • Perform construction management support duties including submittal and shop drawing reviews, answering of contractor requests for information, review and approval of contractor construction schedules, change order requests, etc.
  • Perform review and analysis of new energy saving technologies and evaluate their possible use for GSA facilities, Federal office buildings, Federal courthouses, and other similar facilities as national team member of GSA Green Proving Ground Technical Advisory Group.
  • Write statements of work and produce cost estimates for HVAC retro-commissioning projects for GSA buildings. Assist GSA procurement staff with price negotiations and award. Provide technical review and acceptance of project deliverables.
  • Hold current U. S. Government Public Trust Clearance.

  • Wrote Statements of Work for contract Architecture/Engineering (A/E) firm designs for hospital construction and renovation projects including upgrades and additions for HVAC, chilled water and condensing water systems, central steam boiler plants, steam and steam condensate systems, heating water systems, building automation systems, piped medical gas and vacuum systems, plumbing and drain systems, fire suppression systems, fire alarm systems, electrical systems, nurse call systems, structural systems, architectural modifications, elevator rebuilds, and roofing replacements.
