- Worked with 3 other students to build a functioning health/wellness application for iOS devices that works with apple watches, which used data collected to give the user feedback to help lead a healthier lifestyle
- Acted as a full stack developer, contributing by working with various packages in Swift that helped with creating a user interface, accessing data from a database, etc.
- Had 5 users test it for 4 weeks, with the original goal of increasing average daily sleep and steps by 20-25% by the 4th week. Users on average had a 21% increase in step count and 9% increase in sleep time.
UCI Search Algorithm
- Worked with one other student to create a search engine that searches the UCI database for matching queries
- Goal was to make a system that was fast enough to get 10 results with decent accuracy in a few seconds or less. Ended up with almost all tested queries taking 1-5 seconds.
