In 2008, as a part of the MCSO Swat Team, I was part of a team that served a high-risk search warrant on a drug dealer. The drug dealer fired his automatic weapon on my team and I sustained a bullet wound in my leg but continued our mission. The suspect was quickly apprehended and I was transported to the hospital to receive medical treatment.
