• Piping in boilers and miscellaneous mechanical equipment to customer and or company spec
• Installing miscellaneous flow control and or flow measuring instruments. Such as timed conductivity valves, orifice flanges, metering valves, Spence valve etc, with the correct bypass systems.
• Make repairs to code vessels, making code welds necessary for different applications.
• Experience leading jobs and assisting in leading jobs of any scale.
• Maintained good relationships with everyone with-in the company and also with all the customers.
• Knowledge in running various types of tubing in different applications for water, sensing lines, chemical lines, or flow or temperature measuring systems such as RTDs
• Always maintaining a clean work area and vehicle. Cleanliness and organization are top priority in order to conduct quality work.
• Experience servicing and installing certain boiler components such as McDonnell millers, sight glasses & valves and various level control instruments.
• Experience in taking a part and reassembling various burner assemblies.

• Experience troubleshooting on various types of mechanical equipment including Boilers, Deaerators, Feed water tanks, Water softener systems, Blow down separator and accumulator systems, Steam accumulator systems, and Sectional boilers.

• Knowledge and experience installing and servicing miscellaneous types of valves such as but not limited to Gate valves, Non return valves, Globe valves, Plug valves, Ball valves, needle valves. As well as various types of check valves such as, swing checks, piston checks, and spring checks. Also installing and servicing different types of steam traps.

• Knowledge in the different units of measurements necessary for the job such as PSI, BAR, BTU, CFM, INH20

• Experience reading and understanding various types of blueprints including GAD, PFD, and P&ID.

• 10 years of total experience in an Industrial and Mechanical setting. Spending the majority of the time as a pipe fitter, welder. But also have some general electrical experience and some experience running conduit and pulling wire. Servicing and installing electric motors and gear boxes. Self motivated, hard worker, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn anything to become a more valuable asset to the company.
