  • The building was built in 1963. The building is equipped with (3) KN26 hot water condensing boilers, (2) 320 ton Trane centrifugal chillers, (2) primary air handlers feeding the interior and exterior zones, (1) 450 ton cooling tower.
  • Achievements:
  • When I started at 1100 17th street the energy star was at a 37. Within 11 months I successfully had the building energy star certified at a 75 solely from retro commissioning. The building is currently an energy score of 89. I redesigned the penthouse while overseeing the replacement of (2) 1962 superior low pressure boilers with (3) KN-26 hot water condensing boilers along with a cooling tower replacement in 2017. I also oversaw a 4 million dollar amenity upgrade in 2017 with the addition of a fitness center, conference room, lobby renovation and tenant co-working hive.

  • Company Overview: Worked at 1425 New York Ave, Washington DC. The building was a 275,000 Sq. /ft. of office space leased by GSA.
  • The building was built in 1992 is equipped with two supply and return high speed vane axial blade fans. Pneumatic VAV system works independently with a newly installed Allerton DDC System. All electric heat with a central plant consisting of 2 York centrifugal chillers with a combined tonnage of 800 tons. A retail closed loop which operates 24-7. Two twin cell BAC cooling towers forced draft, at 1220 tons.
  • Achievements:
  • I raised our Energy Star score from a 42 to a 75 which allowed the building to become Energy Star rated. I assisted in lowering the electrical consumption by over $250,000 along with lowering tenant complaints.
  • Worked at 333 Constitution Avenue, Elijah Barrett Prettyman U.S. Courthouse. I responded to service calls for HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Lighting. I also helped the Chief Engineer inventory the entire buildings equipment and create the preventive maintenance schedule.
  • Worked at 1425 New York Ave, Washington DC. The building was a 275,000 Sq. /ft. of office space leased by GSA.
