  • As a system application engineer I am responsible for engineer jobs as they are assigned to me. We start the process by scheduling a TIP meeting with the account manager, sales engineer, PM and me. We go over the job to make sure everyone knows what the job entails. I make sure I receive the plans and specs, equipment and controls proposal. When needed, I will walk site with project manager to ensure all requirements are met. At the end of the engineered job, it is reviewed and submitted to the project manager.

Accomplishments

  • With my Bachelors in electronics engineering degree, in house / off site classes and on the job training, I am an excellent candidate. I’m an extremely quick learner and enjoy what I do.
  • During the time I was the controls service lead in Phoenix I would hold training classes for any of the new technicians and refresher classes.
  • In my role as systems application engineer I help developed a guide for best practices on how to do custom graphics in Tracer Ensemble that was recently distributed throughout the district. My skills are sometimes needed to program more complex sequence of operations. I am currently the only individual in the Southwest District capable of reverse engineering legacy jobs.
