Recommend to a higher echelon to condemn equipment when the repair costs exceed the established MEL.

  • Perform quality assurance (QA) inspections on equipment repaired in the shop. Certifying that equipment is in satisfactory operating condition or reject the work and return the equipment to the repair shop with specific reports prescribing additional repairs.
  • Saved the Ohio National Guard over $1 million in July 2015 for finding a solution for windshields that needed to be replaced on HMMWV's.
  • Organized and created a parts inventory tracker spreadsheet utilizing Excel for 100% of the rebuild major components totaling over $50,000 while working with the supply section for correct inventory count.
  • Successfully submit web product quality deficiency reporting (PQDR) for defective parts that the shop receives and have saved the Ohio Army National Guard over $100,000.   • Quickly became a reliable asset to the Unit not only for generator repairs but also on wheeled vehicles, A/C equipment repairs and weapons range support.
  • Was the non-commission officer in charge (NCOIC) for the unit safety council.
  • Managed and accounted for the platoon's time measurement diagnostic equipment (TMDE) over 30 pieces of equipment with 100% accuracy.
