The project was to enhance an existing Lending system and to fully automate and increase productivity through
breakthroughs in the automation of work plans, document processing, compliance, and other time-consuming tasks that
previously plagued the Loan origination process.

Responsibilities:
● Gathered and documented requirements from SMEs and users, performed business requirement analysis,
and categorized requirements into requirement types, sub-requirements, assigned prioritization, and Level of
Effort (LOE).
● Analyzed various data elements of the mortgage from the Servicing System and identified any gaps in the
hand-offs between Loss Mitigation, Bankruptcy, Collections, and Foreclosure, which would delay the final
disposition of the property and increase the risk of loss and turn any gaps into projects.
● Collaborate with the Enterprise Policy Governance Officers and Corporate Compliance to respond to
regulatory effectively and efficiently and industry changes that impact mortgage policy.
● Derived Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) based on User Requirement Specifications URS.
Understand and articulate business requirements from user interviews and then convert requirements into
technical specifications.
● Worked with the product owner to prioritize user stories during the product backlog grooming meetings.
● Interact with various departments throughout MLA in developing standards, guidelines, and procedures
consistent with the governing Bank policies.
● Created mapping documents from the database to the Calyx point and did unit testing to ensure the mappings
were correct.
● Data validation using SQL and performed data mapping from source system to target system.
● Coordinated with scrum team members in defining various business rules to validate multiple business
transactions for pre-qualification, underwriting, document verification, and approval process transactions.
● Developed User stories, business flow diagrams, Activity/State diagrams, Swim Lane, missing GAP and risk
analysis, daily scrum meeting, sprint review and retrospective, sprint grooming sessions, sprint release
planning, etc.
● Worked with cross-functional application development teams and stakeholders with organizational goals and
objectives to understand and interpret complex requirements. Also, with defect and change management,
production support, and functional and integration test execution on JIRA.
● Executed UAT, developed and maintained quality procedures, and ensured that appropriate documentation is
in place.
● Worked with user groups to assess user needs, resolve questions, and recommend changes.

• Improved business direction by prioritizing customers and implementing changes based on collected feedback.

The project enhances account verification by adding a stronger layer of protection for a customer’s Discover card account
when attempted to be used to log in to an account from an unfamiliar device or if the customer is performing certain
activities such as updating their profile, switching, or changing browser settings, deleting cookies, or modifying software
settings. The new enhancement gave rise to an increase in customer satisfaction.
The project followed Agile Scrum SDLC Methodology.
Responsibilities:
● Involved in analyzing the existing system and the current business process and methods to identify deficiencies
and areas for improvement and enhancement.
● Liaison between stakeholders' system users, clients and managers, the software development team and the QA
team to gather requirements.

User Analytics Project involved developing a software application to gather relevant data (tweets) and summarize overall
sentiment from Twitter. This application obtains a large amount of data from Twitter with the help of various API and
analyses can help in a better understanding of future marketing and development of other products.
.Responsibilities:
● Requirement elicitation was done by facilitating story authoring sessions and several other meetings and
workshops also participated in Agile Poker to quantify User Stories and Epic.
● Worked in compliance with scrum-master in creating Product Backlog and populating Release Backlog for
effective sprint organization.
● Helped the Scrum Master to implement and educate business stakeholders about agile ceremonies.
