Supervision of Inmates on Housing Units, during visitation, recreational programs, and other activities. Inspects areas for conditions which threaten safety, security, and good order of the facility. Daily inspections and safe keep of facility utilities and supplies. Conduct searches to find contraband. Complete daily logs, forms, and reports. As a Booking Officer daily tasks included maintaining the correct facility count to ensure the security of the facility. Maintaining a logbook of all movement in and out of the facility.
Maintaining Inmate files. Proficiency with E-Justice, SallyPort, Axon Evidence, Microsoft 365, and other computer programs. Inmate intakes including arrests and commitments. Releasing Inmates from the facility, to transports, and other law enforcement agencies. Communicating with county and local courts, the District Attorneys Office, defense attorneys, other correctional facilities, members of the public and other divisions within the Sheriff's Office.
As a Property Officer, search, inspect, distribute and collect, property as described in the inmate rule book.
As a Notary Public, notarize documents in timely manner as outlined in the inmate rule book.
As an Emergency Medical Technician, provide appropriate medical care to any individual in need of medical treatment.
MRAP Vehicle Operator for the Putnam County Sheriff's Response Team.

Assist the Chief of the Department with the oversight of the entire firematic division inclining the supervision of Captains, Lieutenants, Firefighters and EMS personnel during daily operations, training exercises, work details and emergency incidents. Ensuring all tasks are completed correctly and safety. Critical thinking and prompt decision making during critical incidents to ensure all department personal, and members of the public are safe. Report writing for emergency incidents and internal incidents. Maintaining personal and medical records for all members. Maintaining and scheduling all vehicle maintenance. Heading various committees including vehicle refurbishing and building construction. Purchasing new equipment and submission of firematic related invoices to ensure prompt payment to vendors.

As a patient care technician at Putnam I worked closely with nurses and Doctors. Some of my duties consisted of taking vital signs, splinting, drawing bloods, restocking the Emergency Room, patient care, and documenting all care on an online charting system.
