  • Other projects include: The design and implementation of a PLC controlled liquid nitrogen cooling system encompassing remotely operated valves and pumps as well as multiple feedback systems
  • A hazardous gas delivery system with a state of the art safety interlock system, a vented explosion proof gas cabinet and a PLC controlled gas purge system
  • The development of a new process to 'grow' high strength copper joints onto high current electromagnets with the ability to survive thermal and magnetic stress
  • Development of a plasma divertor system that survives high magnetic stresses, temperatures above 700 deg Celsius and resides in a vacuum of 10 -8 torr
  • Management of subcontracted machining and fabrication operations from initial design stage to final product
  • Supervision of numerous project teams working simultaneously
