Lead a team of Transportation Associates at multiple Amazon fulfillment centers, oversee daily operations while ensuring safety and quality standards are met, manage and drive improvements to ensure loads are being delivered in an efficient and timely manner.

Perform leadership duties such as frequent 1:1 development coaching sessions to drive productivity improvements, collect data to generate daily reports to support business needs, troubleshoot shipping errors and drive solutions.

Drive in-yard and commercial vehicles to support Amazon’s transportation network, while also coordinating yard activities to ensure unit accuracy.

Perform quality checks on products prior to shipment to ensure customer satisfaction, monitor supply levels of packing materials, requesting restocks as necessary, work additional hours and shifts to meet tight deadlines during peak periods.

Operate conveyor belts, push-back tractors and aircraft tugs daily, utilize scanners to track cargo information and condition, use digital database to keep records of units and stock moved.

Contact customers about potential service upgrades, new services and account changes, provide top quality control and eliminated downtime to maximize revenue, communicate with customers via telephone or in person to provide information about products or services and take orders.
