As a Combat Medic for the US Army I held multiple responsibilities. Including training junior, less experienced medics in advanced life saving techniques. I have also had multiple combat rotations to both Syria, and Jordan. On those combat tours I word closely with special forces as well as forward deployed surgical groups. I also trained and educated indigenous and partner forces on trauma and emergency medicine.
I worked multiple roles at Texas Health Mansfield. My primary role was House Supervisor with additional roles as an ICU and ER nurse often times picking up shifts to help with decreasing workload amongst the nursing staff.
Worked in the SICU as well as the ER as one of the lead trauma ICU nurses. Provided exemplary patient care.
Worked in both the ICU and ER at the main critical access hospital in west Texas. Recovered open hearts and certified on CRRT.
Worked in the Medical ICU, providing exemplary patient care. Got certified on power-glides and midlines to help multiple units with establishing IV access on hard stick patients. Worked overtime as much as I could to help decompress the ICU during COVID.
