Management and treatment of patients as part of the critical care team. ACNP responsibility of admission of all patient within the ICU and managing patients within the hybrid critical care rapid assessment unit (CCRAU). CCRAU is a unit where deteriorating patient on the medical floor come for rapid assessments and intervention to prevent further decline with potential to return to the medical floor once stable.

• ACNP service of 6 up to 10 pts (COVID, ARDS, GIBs, overdose, DKA, CVA, shock, etc)
• Multidisciplinary rounds with bedside RN, pharmacy, respiratory therapy and attending
• Respond to all CODE blue in facility

• Trained new nurses in proper techniques, care standards, operational procedures, and safety protocols.
• Coordinated nursing care on unit through staff assignments, assisting and rounding with physicians, monitoring patient orders, and communicating with ancillary departments.
• Conducted daily multidisciplinary rounds to inform staff of changes in patient care plan.
• Mentored and supervised junior nurses, fostering a supportive and professional work environment.
• Collaborated with other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.

• Assessed physical, psychological, physiologic, and cognitive status of patients.
• Monitored complex patients after cardiac arrest, septic shock, cardiogenic shock, CRRT and mechanically ventilation.
• Collaborated with physicians, pharmacists and therapists to deliver quality, evidence-based care.
• Educated patients, families and caregivers on diagnosis and prognosis, treatment options, disease process, and management and lifestyle options.
