8 years in this Community and 30 years on the Eastside of Detroit, no one knows this community like I do. Having grew up here, became a man here, ran the streets here, went to school here, raised children here, played and coached sports here has endeared me to the neighborhood and it to me. I love Detroit and never want to leave. Having found a gem like The Matrix Center that gives a hand up to the community is a dream come true. Once I realized what this place is about there is nowhere else I would rather be.
