  • As Assistant Dean for Residential Education, I am responsible for all educational initiatives and support programs for approximately 2,800 undergraduate students living in 40 residential facilities. Supervised two professional staff members, one administrative support staff member, one undergraduate intern, and one summer graduate intern. Managed the departmental operating budget of approximately $150,000. I served on the campus-wide emergency response team one week per term. Participated in the implementation of a faculty-in-residence program. Developed and managed all diversity initiatives for the Office of Residence Life, including serving as co-chair of the Office of Residential Life Diversity Committee. Investigated and purchased diversity materials for the Office of Residential Life resource library. Developed mechanism to recruit and retain students of color to residential life staff positions. Managed College’s Academic and Special Interest Affinity Housing program, including supervision of seven student staff members.
