Hello, my name is Chris. For the last two years I have been employed as an assembler at Schindler Elevator, Hanover. For almost ten years before that, I worked at Treehouse Foods Hanover Bakery (formerly Conagra) and was able to work my way up from an entry level position. During this time I acquired a number of skills and experiences making me a well rounded employee suitable for a number of positions. I want to thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
At Schindler Elevator I was responsible for building Elevator walls, roofs, doors, and multiple other components. I would use the G.O. system to identify the specifics that each job entailed, and the SAP system to check off and photograph my work.
During this time I would also occasionally assist the paint line with loading and unloading parts, etc.
As an Oven Operator I was responsible for for preforming changeovers and startups as well as overseeing product flow and quality. I worked closely with Mixing, Maintenance, Quality, and Management to facilitate this. I was also responsible for filling out paperwork in a timely manner, loading various ingredients, and keeping a large area clean.
As a Mixer I was responsible for taking weight, temperature, and moisture samples to keep product in spec. I was also responsible for making adjustments to mixing equipment and keeping a sharp eye out for equipment malfunction.
As the only person handling Over-run for some time, I was responsible for collecting good product that wasn't bagged into large tubs and reworking it back into the lines. I was also responsible for tearing down skids which had been improperly bagged and reworking that product back into the lines. Finally I was responsible for grinding product that was unfit to be reworked.
As a packer I was responsible for packing bags of pretzels into boxes and stacking skids in a rapid fashion. I inspected both bags and product for defects. In some cases, I was responsible for more complicated skid set-up.
I am also intelligent and well read in books and authors that pertain to business such as Dale Carnegie, Stephen Covey, Jocko Willink, and many more.
I received my Industrial Maintenance Diploma with the assistance of OVR.
