Assess for changes in residents condition and communicate with resident, physician and family. Provide emotional support & education for resident and family. Assist, educate, and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants with direct resident care such as incontinence care, bathing, dressing, eating, repositioning, vital signs, safety checks, infection control, and transfers, Etc. Educate assistants on recognizing signs and symptoms requiring medical attention and informing nurse.

Administer medication, perform treatments, draw labs, monitor catheters, feeding tubes, IV therapy, oxygen therapy, & insulin therapy, Etc.
