Customer service to truck drivers dropping or picking up shipments at Georgia Pacific gate 15.

Using SAP gate pass to check in or check out truck loads.

Using excel spreadsheets to log in and outbound truck traffic.

Communication with the Georgia Pacific allocators to assign live loads to dock doors.

Visually checking seal numbers on outbound shipments.

Multitasking to keep the flow of truck traffic moving through the gate house.

Daily yard checks to ensure proper trailer numbers, locations, and status of trailers.

Scheduling gate house staff.

Training new staff on the procedures and systems used to complete trailer check in and check out.

Creating training aids for new staff members, ongoing learning, or changes that came about in procedures.

Communication with necessary departments such as, chemical unloading, fiber, shipping, and material handling.
