  • I have served as Public Affairs Officer (PIO) of the Western Region, reporting to the WXR RD and the Chief of Public Affairs. I have been a PIO for approximately 72 months. I have worked closely with the members of the BOP's Executive Staff to maintain a smooth flow of information to and from the RD's Office, between the various components within the Bureau, and with outside agencies, the media, and the public. I provided accurate and timely information to all entities as the Institution and Regional PIO.
